Perla de Gran Precio

Vogárs developed and executed a public relations and media tour campaign for Louis Berger's Giveback Program, where they support needed communities in the regions they serve. 

Louis Berger, based in New Jersey, USA, is a top international engineering and development firm.  In the aftermath of hurricane María in Puerto Rico, they were awarded with a contract to supply energy to the Island through generators and microgrids.  Part of their corporate philosophy is to support the communities where they do business.  In Puerto Rico, they implemented their Giveback Program, where they provided energy to remote disadvantaged communities, with a temporary microgrid that included a mobile hybrid solar generator.  This initiative was supported by a public relations campaign that included community events and media coverage.  

For example, we provided the energy that Mameyes community in Utuado needed for their Christmas event, that included live music, food and gifts distribution by a former Governor.  (Click here to jump to Project Management for details)

Few months later, Louis Berger installed a hybrid microgrid at Perla de Gran Precio, a multi-units shelter at Bayamon's mountains southern border.   We coordinated an event that included a presentation of the project, tours for students, food, live music and a theater play.  The event was attended by the Secretary of the Governor and top municipal executives, who offered their speeches.  The event received Islandwide media coverage.   

Few months later the event was replicated at an elderly home in Humacao. 

These efforts contributed to increase Louis Berger name recognition and goodwill in Puerto Rico.

In 2019, we inserted Louis Berger in the College of Engineers' Annual Convention as main sponsors.  As such, they had the chance to expose their services and products to the engineering community in Puerto Rico.  They were also in charge of the main presentation at the Convention.

Vogárs produced the Annual Gala and Golf Tournament for Fundación García Rinaldi.  

Our relationship with Fundación Dr. García Rinaldi, a non-profit organization pro cardiovascular diseases, dates back to more than 20 years ago, when we developed for them a multimedia Public Relations campaign to create awareness about heart illness. 

We also produced for them some of their most important events, like the Annual Gala and the Golf Tournament. 

For the Gala, the theme of the event was "Time".  We were approaching affluent groups and individuals for donations, who had everything but time.  So, this was the time to help and donate.  The motifs of everything related to the event turned around the theme of time.  This was one of their most memorable galas.
